Question about 19" Tire Size

Hey guys, would i be rubbing in the rear?

19x8.5 front 235/35/19
19x9.5 rear 255/35/19

Why would i put 235 35 on a 9.5 wheel? Its going to have that stretched look.. My car is not a quattro.

mine are 19x8 235/35/19 with 10mm spacers

wheels are 32mm offset.

depends on how low you are. With my 19's....hell even with my winter setup i only rub when i'm making a sharp sharp turn (u-turns) other than that no rubbing.

Be careful not to bottom out if you are low...with my winter setup i'm sometimes carless and forget.

you can run a staggared set up on quattro with no issues, you need to make sure the rolling diameter is the same. Meaning that the tire sizes would have to be like....
frnt: 235x35
rear: 265x30 at least that is what mine are... on 19's that are 8.5 and 9.5 frnt/rear

spoke to alot of wheel companys and tuners before excepting the answer... so far it has worked.


As far as rubbing.... iam slammed on c/o and i rub like carzy.... will be raising them up for next summer

i put the 255/35/19 in the rear and they rub like a b**tch . I need to change the rears asap!

19x8.5 -> 235/35/19
19x9.5 -> 265/30/19

With an ET32 offset.. If you are rubbing in the rear then you have to adjust your camber to around -2.0deg and maybe your toe settings to help tuck the wheel in behind the rear fender lip.

I run 245/35-19 on 19x8.5 and i rubb in some bumps, never when i turn. Can go allout u-turning and have never heard anything. I got stock s-line suspension.
