    I would like to introduce myself to the B5 A4 crowd. I am new to the a4 but i have been very active in the B5 S4 forums for the last 4 years. I recently picked up a 1999 A4 Avant for the winter and for commuting to school (Univercity of CT), and gave my mercedes Ml-320 to my girlfriend.

    When i bought my A4 i never expected i would love it as much as my Stage 3 S4 but, i really do. I nerver planned on modifiying the A4 but, you know how that goes. The car has 160,000 miles on it and i runs great. I have done a few choice upgrades so far but i have big plans for it this summer.

    Mods/Maintenence since i bought it 2 months ago:):

    • EPL Chip
    • Vent boost guage
    • Nuespeed race springs
    • S4 shocks
    • MBC
    • Airbox mod
    • 710n
    • ATP testpipe
    • Soon, Custum magnaflow exhaust
    • ECS slotted rotors and Hawk pads
    • Blacked out grill
    • New Snow tires

    What do you do to be able to afford college, 3 cars (2 modified) and a girlfriend? I never could understand how so many college ppl on here could afford so much.

    That's funny, I have a stage 3 S4 and bought my 99.5 avant as my daily driver too. I already did so much to it, considering I was just gonna drive it and leave it alone (I know how the modding bug goes). Welcome and I guess I should make my intro into the A4 community soon too.
