brand new. yes. That price is very reasonable.

Used, you'll be lucky if you can find them for $500. There is a set of [used] B7 S4 calipers in the classifieds for around $500 right now. Then you need pads (>$100) and rotors (>$100-150 each).

When it comes to brakes. My motto is to not cut corners. Granted, there is a brake kit out there for each individual's use (BBK isn't necessarily the answer).

Thanks for the offer on the new kit...$1200 may be the going rate, however, it's a bit "too beaucoup" given the relatively low cost of BBKs nowadays.

I'm checking what pieces are involved so an ETKA would still appreciated.

So, you spend $2k on StopTechs (cheapest BBK). They are StopTechs. Not OEM. Granted OEM doesn't have the 'bling factor' that BBKs provide you but they work very well. Something about OEM Brakes speaks for itself when bolted up on an Audi.

Thanks DTHaus, a kudo for you.

Do you happen to have the screen print as well?

Also, what is the Part # for the the hardline that goes between the back of the caliper and the "L" bracket (thanks MikTip for the picture):

Re: ETKA request: B6/B7 S4 front brakes

I just got all four calipers from a B6 S4 from Shokan with the splash shields for $1000.00. His price is fair for new. The B6 calipers I got are going to need to be painted, his are already done. It's a very reasonable price for what you get.

I'm going to do up the set I just got, then swap them onto my S4 and do up the ones that come off, then upgrade the brakes on my Avant. BBK's are nice, but the stock S4 brakes are pretty ferocious as far as stopping power goes, especially if you go all the way around with them.
    A couple of Audi's later...
