    Re: trunk spoiler

I have a stick on trunk spoiler, it is just a lip and it came pre painted off of ebay. I am really pleased with it. I have no peeling issues and I have had it for about a year.

    Re: trunk spoiler

Oettinger doesn't drill in to the trunk. It goes on with an adhesive.

You really found one for $400? Not gona beat that price if it is authentic.

    Re: trunk spoiler

What is the best place to find a oettinger trunk spoiler? Or is it just luck of the draw?

It's so much easier to suggest solutions when you don't know too much about the problem.

because they can -- Oettinger and OEM a tad more $ than the "lip" type; do a search on this forum and you'll find a bunch of prior threads

I think it has to do with the the rarity + original markup back when Oettinger only had one main importer in the States (CEC Wheels)

Just FYI, don't buy an eBay one from China for $100... I think replicas are sold but they don't look anything like the real deal.

Nice car! Now you just need to tint the windows. I actually like the way the wing sticks up on the edges.

    Re: trunk spoiler

Thanks -- I got it here (from Anthony) on AZ, but it is OEM, maybe Euro market more than US judging by paperwork that came in box. I've seen a few pix of guys on here with same, but pretty rare.

Unfortunately recently cleaned up desk (new year and all that) so don't have some papers I used to. Oempl.us brings stuff over, and it may even be available at dealers (try audipartstore.com?). LLtek was also on my list, don't remember if they just had lip, though. Importrp.com was another, maybe. Wish I could help more.

An invitation to post pix? Well, I suppose I could oblige.

This is current winter set-up (with 17" Avus, snow tires). Since about a day or so after this pic we haven't seen any grass around here. Another 4" to come tonite, I hear.

ECS tuning has one for $70. I'm thinking of picking the lip and 4.2 doorblades up and leaving them both black to contrast with my car. I will definitely do a photoshop mockup first though.
