Haha, thanks man! Awesome ride...can't wait to see the evolution Let me know how things go with the guys up there at Infineon, hopefully we can get together again when you pull the trigger on it

    1. I don't have the DTM package however I do have a rear CF spoiler which I have never put on. Is it just me or does anyone else not like how the spoiler does not go from trunk end to end, why the 1/2in gap on either side?

    2. I'm all for debadging the trunk, but I like the V'8s, I feel like it takes attention off the horrible side safety lights.

Not really IMO.. If anything it draws more attention to them because now instead of looking at just the side markers, there is a big chrome V8 logo there too..

If i had the OP's car i would pull the side badges as well and just get the smoked side markers. My car is Dolphin grey, so i intend on doing that in the near future. It blends right into the fender..

I think that the fact the spoiler doesn't go from end to end isn't an issue at all. I see Channa's car all the time and I don't even notice it.

I can't believe you called the european side markers horrible. I love euro side markers. They make the car.

DTM pkg S4 does not look like an A4 S-Line...different grille, no side blades, different running boards, different bumpers, CF splitter and spoiler, aluminum mirror housings, S4 brake calipers, and OEM 18" RS4 wheels...hmmm, differentiate much?

I look at it i this way...I know what my car is, and so do other enthusiasts. Who cares if someone on the street doesn't know. Plus, I bought my car for what's inside the cabin and under the hood, not the cheap-o plastic on the outside of the car....trust me, it's cheap ass plastic.

On a side note: I sold my V8 badges

x2 and im pretty sure most wouldnt think channa's car is an a4 sline anyway especially with the beautiful sprint blue. For those who do who cares what they think anyway.

this is true., although you DTM guys have the DTM A4 to contend with!

I do agree however...my S4 is a silver Q-car, and there's a reason it doesn't say M3 on my ownership title...I prefer the under-radar approach. Even Audi drivers sometimes don't know. There's an A4 owner in my office building who saw me get out of my car (he didn't hear it). In the elevator he asked me 'What year is your A4? Cool wheels" (my stock 18" S4 wheels are my winters).

    I just said "2007".

    Re: Mostly Stock B7 DTM

Cool! I will definitely consider Stasis when I get my S4 since they are in my backyard!!!!! That, and the JHM rotors and Cayenne Calipers I've been reading about seem to really re-define the car. S4DTM is in Norcal (and so are you)? I'd love to take a ride in one of your cars to experience the difference (please PM me whatset or S4 DTM)! So, Stasis answered all your questions? What, were you like hanging out there all day and just grilling them with technical questions (I'd be hesitant to shell over that cash for a coilover system without a confident provider)? I'd love to get an S4 with your setup (or S4DTM's). Any for sale up in norcal that you know of?

So here is the story. I’ve been looking at upgrading my S4 since last October. I began with internet research, here mostly, and was looking for other customer experiences. After some cursory study, I reached out to one of the FFRG NCAL members S4DTM to see what this STaSIS stuff was all about. He graciously offered me his car. Holy CRAP is all I can say. From there the addiction took hold and began to grow… As a continuing part of my decision I made contact with the headwaters of the goodness. Jim Rose, Jason Whipple and the guys at STaSIS worked with me for 6 months and put up with a barrage of detail oriented questions, demands and other assorted pain points. I was not a simple customer; I wanted to know every detail about their secret sauce. I even worked to bring STaSIS offerings into my local Audi Dealer network to support it. (I tried, but they seemed scared in the current economic climate and deferred making any decisions to offer the product line.) I ended up working with Dan Mermelstein and Jeff Aguilar at Vivid Racing. I think everything came out really well and will whole-heartedly recommend and vouch for any and all the parties involved in my process.

I did my homework and made solid choices. My expectation on the upgrade was to come out the other side with a car that has an increased acceleration, less understeer, flatter handling and increased lateral g capabilities. I achieved this by lowering unsprung weight, removing sidewall, running a smaller diameter tire, stiffer sway and springs. I wanted to go low but not at a sacrifice to handling.

    Upgrades:
    H&R 22mm Rear Sway - set stiff
    Ohlins MS Coilovers – 700/1100 f) 25” and (r) 25.3”
Champion RS147 19x9 (ET unknown? – proprietary info I guess)

This I find pretty lame. Not picking on Stasis but many wheel manufacturers like to keep offset values hidden. They're friggin' wheel specs, no one is asking for the secrets of cold fusion or who killed JFK. In fact, anyone who owns them can just measure them themselves.

    end rant, carry on.

Can't you just measure the wheel to find the center, then measure from the hub mounting point on the wheel to the outside edge, then subtract the difference to find the offset?

does it really matter? They fit a b7 s4. Stasis makes sure they fit fine. What else is required to know? if you want them for an s4, they fit. if you want them for a model that s4 rims fit, they fit.
