clucth issue

So for the last month or so my clutch has been slipping in the cold cold weather under 40 degrees. It will only slip when I get to about 10psi. The clutch only has 30k on it and its a clutchmasters stage 4. My question is the clutch done or is it some sort of hydraulic system problem. The pedal works fine and it goes into all gears without problems. When its over 40 degrees it will only slip in the higher gears under a heavy load.

Didn't know you could adjust the B5 hydraulic clutch...

A possibility is a sticking clutch master / slave cylinder piston.
If it's not fully returning to its rest position, the clutch will be semi-depressed.

6 puck or 4 puck?

Sounds like its just slipping more because the flywheel/pressure plate are very cold and the clutch is worn enough to cause it to slip more then it should since it still slips under high load in warmer conditions.


How long have you had the clutch?

6 puck and ive had since about august, ive put 30k on it but still it cant be done already. Is there anything else i can look for?

The slave might not be releasing completely keeping some pressure on the fingures, but thats a long shot.
