aerocatch hood pins metal......

I am going to pick up a set of aerocatch hood pins for a factoryFive cobra I am building. On the site i pasted below they have pictured on the white car a set in chrome. normally Im not a huge chrome guy but I think the chrome aerocatch pins would look great on my dark blue 65 cobra rep. The window trim and such would match. I have been searching but I cant find them in chrome. Anybody ever seen them for sale anywhere?

They look like they were painted white to me...

They look apinted to me as well, I know guys find plastic chrome shops and have the plastic parts chromed, you could try that, the same guys sometimes do trophies etc.

I think you guys are right now that you say it I think is painted also. I dont think i want to go thru having them chromed I just thought if I chould buy a metal version that would go with the rest of the car...but it not going to be a period correct cobra I have some new school touches like a CF dash. So I think the black plastic ones will not look out of place. Thanks guys,
