Blue Mirrors WTF?????

So when I got in my car today I looked at my side mirrors and my driver side looked a lil dark, then looked at my passenger side I thought I was out of my mind, half my passager side was blue and the rest normal. I was really freaking out like damn now I need new mirrors but then out of no where they start changing to there normal color so does any one know wtf that was all about???

Mine are always a light blue tint... except around the edges, where they are starting to turn orange...

like to the point I thought some one was messin wit me and tinted my mirrors 5% blue tint lol

Umm, I dont know. Ive heard of them turning orange over time, but never dark blue. Some one else??

Try this - cover the light sensor behind the rear view mirror, and see if you can re-create the "blue tint" effect. When it's overcast, my mirrors dim a bit and appear with a "blue tint", it clears up when the weather clears up.

what does it mean if they are a goldish color and can almost move the liquid around inside? time for new mirrors? :-(

the color shift is to not let bright lights blind you, and make low light brighter

I get the same effect in similar conditions
