Does anyone use rim tape?

I know it's a hot thing on sport bikes... but does anyone have em on here? i love the way it looks on this porsche...



is that rim tape or do some rims just come like that?

I think that most rims are painted on like the wheels on the new M3. But I dont think many p[eople would notice if you tried to use the tape creatively. IMO it looks tigh with the right color scheme

Its a factory option through Porsche.

Not a factory option. That is actually a silver stripe. When you order the GT3 wheels in black or any other color they leave the lip unpainted.

Got it on my 636, looks fresh and no one knows the diffrence. never tried em on car rims, probably look hot though.

So then when is the new boxster supposed to hit showrooms? The parents just ordered their's yesterday and saw they changed the wheel options, Front and Rear ends, and different engine's? When did they start the production of them?

Yeah they oreded just the base 6-speed Boxster with the Boxster S II wheels, heated seats, bose radio, and painted roll bars is what i can think of off the top of my mind. The color combo's are Macadamian Metallic, Coco Top, and Coco interior.
