My 1999.5 1.8T

I'm new to the forum and thought I would post some pics of my 1999.5 A4 1.8T Quattro I bought a couple of weeks ago. It has 120k miles on it and is my new daily driver. It had the turbo replaced at 70k miles and timing belt and clutch replaced at 90k miles. Just took it on a 500 mile trip to Vermont and back and it drove great all the way.

Kenwood DDX-8017 In-Dash DVD Player
Alpine PLT-5 LAT Subwoofer
Autometer Boost Gauge In Driver Side Vent

In the next couple of months I plan on adding:
APR TIP
Painting brake calipers red
And maybe a Forge Splitter Valve

But, I personally dont like this Yellow Foglights, I think it will look mutch better if you put xenon on the Foglights

Yea I'm not sure how I feel about the yellow yet. I might end up changing them. But they do look pretty cool at night.

They're highly functional, as they reflect wet surfaces better than white/ blue light

4A Play - Nice. But I actually just totaled my FC last week. Spun on some black ice and took out a light pole doing 40mph. So if you need any parts let me know. You on rx7club?

Wow, I literally just installed yellow lamin-x on my fogs yesterday. I read in an article how they don't reflect as much light during foggy/rainy weather. Thats why you never see HID fogs on any cars (there could be some exceptions). I'm suprised Lexus (maybe a few others) is the only colmpany using yellow fogs.

yellow fogs ftw.

with just my lowbeams on, street signs light up well, but thats about it. very poor visibility (aftermarket true-blue h7s), but with the fogs on as well, visibility is DRASTICALLY improved. also, with the blue and yellow together, they sort of cancel out/combine and the result is a much more white reflected view on the road surface. i've wanted this bulb setup ever since i first went to the 12 hours of Sebring, where many of the gt and lm classes used a low and high hid setup to get the same result. it also makes the car look a little more aggressive as well as more unique. best distance is still with the oem high-beams which are clear/white sylvanias, but i love driving with my current light bulb setup.

Oh wow!! that used to be my car, all the mods are done by me except the dvd player and wheels lol. Did you buy it from the guy with lexus Is 300. I loved this car to death when i had it, congrats man. I wanna see it too haha..

By the way, its got a REVO chip and Neuspeed Race springs, I still have the Receipt of it if u want it.
