I cracked my RS4 reps, so I sandblasted the stockers, sanded em, primed em, and painted em. They're growing on me.

I can't tell, bronze or black? Either looks awesome. I would have flat blacked them myself :)

They're actualy Duplicolor Graphite. I think it was just the way the sun was hitting them that day.

I had to take advantage of the 60 degree weather after chirstmas.

They look good, probably the direction I'll go with my stockers.

Ditch that front plate and get a new filler!

No, I decided against the clear coat, because I wasn't quite sure how it would hold up against chips, and how hard it would be to patch it with a clear on there.

You can see on the right front wheel there are 3 spots on the spokes where it chipped. I was putting the wheel on and turned away to raise it for just one second and I saw it falling over on the face as I turned back. But so far, that has been the only chips on them. I've had em a little bit over a month now.

As for the reps, I was driving to class and heard it up front. I parked it as soon as I could. Luckily, I'm only 1/4 to campus. Me and a buddy from class went to check it out after class. When we got it off, we noticed a huge dent in the inside lip. I can only remember hitting one bump hard, but that was back in July. There was a crack going across the width rim. Lesson learned: Don't buy rims for OE Production from Sarasota, FL off of Ebay.

I blasted em myself at my dad's work. Sanded em smooth. Used duplicor filler primer, then i think 3 or 4 coats of Duplicolor graphite wheel paint. It took us about one night to do. I had maybe $45 in paint and primer. Sure beat spending $800 on another set of rims.
