the mirrors on das' car weren't m3 they were from some old rally coupe quattro or something and had a custom fab mount to fit his car. my sport mirrors are all oxidized, i'd like to find a set of brushed aluminum RS4 ones

In.Pro mirror covers on my A4. They are OEM quality. Perfect fit, perfect quality.

OEM brushed would be RS4. S4's have polished aluminum. And unless anyone is selling just the caps, on ebay or classifieds, you would have to get the entire mirror assembly from a dealer..not cheap..

Nope. RS4 is brushed. S4 is polished.

the brushed aluminium looking mirrors didnt come out until the B7 RS4

RS4 cast aluminium mirrors are complete units, they don't seperate into individual parts like the regular A4 / S4 items.

They don't come with the glass either:
