    It is normal. It goes away when you drive your car a while and allow the oil to heat up. Not that I've ever seen it with my oil - but there have been numerous threads about this phenomenon and none ever reported any bad effects from this. It is only temporary. Go drive your car!

    Your are not letting your car warm up enough before you drive. It can go away as your car warms up but you should always let your car warm up for a couple minutes before heading off if you live in a colder environment.

    My Owners manual says to do the exact opposite... Don't let it idle on start. Start and drive moderately on cold days.

    I usually let it warm till the DIS says its 10 Degrees C.. and even when i drive it i never let it pass 2.3k Rev's.. don't know if its the right way tho
