Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    hey guys,
planning on installing my coilovers next week and then taking it to get an alignment right away. 23" ground to fender is my goal. anyone know the specs for toe, camber, and caster being this low? and please don't leave comments like omg you're gonna be way to low and the ride will suck. thanks

i'm at 24 7/8" and even at that height there is still a bit of induced camber.... at 23 there will be a lot more unless you are running 17s or 16s. remember you can't fix excessive camber unless you have adjustable control arms

You're going to have at least -2º negative camber.... maybe even up to -3º. Other than that just have them equal out the camber and get the toe in spec and you'll be good.

love it. I'm planning on close to that this summer. All i can say is make sure you plan on buying tires sooner than normal cuz it seems like its hard to get even wear on the tires and make sure you get a good skidplate! Your gunna be bottoming out everywhere. but is worth it

Damn, that's low. I'm at 24.5" and my exhaust sits about 2.5" off the ground right after my downpipe. It loves getting pwnd by rocks/debris and speed bumps!

As long as the toe is in spec and the camber is even he shouldn't go through tires too fast.

I'd look into getting a panzer plate to protect your oil pan though.

Re: allignment for 23" ground to fender?

I know everyone else has said the same thing but 23" is really really low. At that level you are going to be running into a lot of issues with the suspension, tires and the ground. (btw, kyleH, if thats your car, it looks awesome)

Ive got 25" fender to ground on all 4 and I have no camber issues at all, only very mild toe-in on the front. And im running H&R Race springs on stock sport struts.

Not my car, I would never be caught with my coilovers that low.

Re: allignment for 23" ground to fender?

hey to each is own but i think running that low looks horrible and has no benefit. but if you want to be different by drawing attention thats cool. i just wouldnt do it cause it would cost too much for repairs, and tires. i would be worried about ruining something under the car. it would not fun to drive, ride would be horrible, cant take corners any faster than a semi and esthetics arent there.
