A Touareg I'd Kill to Drive

I'm not a big fan of the Touareg in general (though I do like the Q7), but this one is flat out amazing (hope it's not a repost)...

It's a quality build with some interesting features. I've never seen an unequal length a-arm setup quite like this one. And if you've ever wondered what welds and metal work should look like, just take a look at this trophy truck build (or any TT build for that matter). Some stats: V12 TDI, 25" travel in front, 30" in the rear, Brembos, carbon fiber galore and owend by VW of America.

    Quick preview...

You do realize the extent of this particular build? I'm guessing total build cost somewhere around the 300k+ range (if you count the work VW put into it).

The only two things that really have any relation to a Toureg are the fiberglass shell (which was actually designed by the VW design team) and a TDI V12. The rest is a one off trophy truck SCORE chasis build. There's probably 200k in fab work.

Not that the HPA Touareg isn't sick, but it's just a turbo Touareg. This trophy truck isn't on the same level, it's in a whole different world.
