How do people feel about w/m kits?

At a track event. Doesn't seem like the best of ideas, I feel like I'd need a giant tank!! Anyone use it for track events? Not a quarter mile.

You don't need a massive tank. It would be wise to have one with a little breather setup, as I have seen tanks get sucked in a bit...

Why would you? I'd imagine a gallon+ of meth is going to get your through your first stage of a track event. Unless you have two massive nozzles, I don't think you will need a huge tank. You can always get a larger tank... and you can also piece together your own meth kit.

read up more about w/m kits... from what i remember, the guys who use their windshield washer reservoir for it have that filled up and it lasts around a tank or so (someone please correct me if i'm wrong)...

Well much of that depends on how you drive your car.

I'm using my wiper tank.

It totally depends on how you drive you car. There will be times when I'll go on a drive and make 2psi of boost.

You can also set it to come on really high (20psi) starting point or something along those lines so it won't even spray under less boost levels.

If you were tuned for meth, yes.

It'll also affect your tune when you've got your foot to the floor and a meth line pops off

I put a 2.5 gallon tank in the trunk and it seems to last more than long enough. I haven't had it on a road course yet, but I will be going to willow springs next month so I'll let you know how long it lasted.

man it ain't cheating, neither is n20, neither is the twin engined hyundai! remember that? thing ran 10 second 1/4's.. had one more engine in the trunk.
just disclose it. meth isnt cheating anymore than running 109 or bigger intercoolers imo.

I use my windshield washer tank for my water meth and on the track I get about 15 minutes on the track before my low fluid light comes on so I plan to either add a larger tank or another small one that will drain into the washer reservoir as it drops. Most sessions are 20-25 minutes long so if I can make it that long I will be happy.

I havent tracked the car with my meth set up but yeah it all depends on how you drive the car. Don't foget that just because your low level light comes on, doesn't mean your out of meth, you still have at least a quarter tank left.

If you're getting tuned for it and plan on tracking the car, just get a big tank and mount it in the trunk. Fairly easy install.
