Re: Brake Pad Question on A6

I would suggest you save $ on rotors and get stock rotors.
I had spent $ on Brembo Cross drilled rotors and honestly there is little if any gain ands the price is much higher, also drilled rotors are mpore fragile tend to warp faster and cause vibrations. I went back to regular OEM style rotors with HAWKS HPS pads which work reall well and are low dust. With the saved $ from the rotors, get stainless steal brake lines et racing brake fluid... you will notice better braking, less fade and better pedal feel in my opinion
    Have a great day, Brice

Re: Brake Pad Question on A6

I am having dba4000 slotted front rotors, Rotora slotted rear rotors, Pagid RS4-2-1 pads, and Motul installed on my allroad today. It will be interesting to see how much different it is than stock.

Agree with gigi. I did the cross drilled and slotted rotors and on a stock size rotor didn't feel much different. it's pretty much just for looks. Brake fluid and braided lines are a better way to go
