I'm so stoked...I finally found it

The boost leak that is. Today was the warmest day of the month so I made another attempt to find it with a boost leak tester but as soon as I removed the TIP, I saw the problem...the turbo outlet T-bolt clamp worked itself really loose. It figures that it would have been the only clamp I overlooked at my previous attempt. Tightened it down with thread locker this time.

Turns out that my tester was too long to fit between the turbo and rad fans, it only fit on an angle over the turbo inlet. At 15psi the tester started leaking and nowehere else so I figured good enough (for now anyways).

So happy now that the car pulls well and feels like it's at 100% so I decided to finally give it a wash.

i don't think you need to test it at higher than 12-14 psi, the leak will show itself before then. i'm too chicken to put it up at 15+ psi, i've had the pressure tester shoot off about an inch from my face before. scared the piss out of me!

what do you mean you "tightened it down with a thread locker"? i need to put a t-bolt clamp onto mine as well, but no one carries them in such a small size locally.

I think you want to test as high as the maximum boost that you'll run to make sure no hoses pop off. I have to build a new tester as it was too long with the compressor fitting so I could only get it on a 30* angle over the turbo inlet. Still it didn't pop, it just leaked.

Thread locker = Loctite on the T-bolt clamp. I ordered all my clamps online, couldn't find them locally either.
