    Can a wheel that's sized 19 x 8.5 fit onto a stock everything B7 S4? I know a 19 x 8 can but 8.5?

    Yes. I'm running 19x8.5 Sportec's with 245-35 tires and I'm lowered. I don't think you'll have any problems.

    Re: Quick Q on wheels

Completely fine if the offset is correct. Offset should be +35 for perfect fit on 19x8.5 with 245/35 rubber

    Re: Quick Q on wheels

Actually, a perfect offset for the 8.5" is a +38.

The BBS CH 8.5" +35 shod with 245's rubs so you're gonna need that extra few mm's. You can run all the way down to a +32 on an 8.5" wheel but you gotta take out the fender bolt, keep it at a decent ride height and stiffen up the suspension a little bit to keep the rubbing at a minimum.

^^ I forgot that important piece of info^^ I've got a 35 offset as well.

No rubbing on turns. I do rub a bit when I go over a dip in the road too fast sometimes.

Are you getting a different Audi or just selling this one off? I suppose if you had another one already it would be listed.

On tires and wheels, do you think there is much merit in the idea of sticking with 18's simply for sake of durability? Say an 18x8.5 so contact traction is equal.

I've had troubles on 19's before and those were even rft's

No more Audi's for now. Buying a house and I already have another car. Im sure i'll be back in an Audi in the future.

There are 19s out there that are going to be very durable.
No matter the size there is no such thing as indestructible. Either find yourself a well made set of rims that will set you back a few k's or buy some lessor brand for cheap and not worry about shelling out big money if something were to happen.

I've been very lucky and have had no troubles with my 18s or 19s.

So your tire is a 245? What tire are you running and what is your ride height?

I suppose you sold the 19's you had?

I wouldn't mind a stiffer suspension but I don't want to be any lower. This car is for all purpose and some roads to trail heads are not so nice to lowered cars.

No, still have them. Took them off the car when I decided to sell it.
They will be for sale as soon as the car sells.
