I have a 2005.5 that I bought with about 25k miles. A good couple months into owning it, I started it up one morning to see the "low coolant level" warning light. There was also coolant all over the top of my plastic skid plate under the engine, seemed like almost a slow drip.

Filled it back up and went to Audi a few days later, and there was some o-ring on the back of the block that was under warranty or recalled for leaking. I'd bet you have the same problem, see if the source is toward the back of the block...

There is no reason a chip would cause a coolant leak (most of us are chipped) so I suggest making an appointment and just tell them you have a coolant leak somewhere. The fact that you noticed it after driving hard is probably just a coincidence

    +1
I had a small drip too - there was a TSB on it and fixed under warranty
