im going to have my head machined soon and i was wondering what a fair price is for basic machining and a full valve job or should i just get a new head?

oh and what is the screen name for one Bobby with the silver b6 a4 in colorado springs?

You might benefit from some cat cams 3651 camshafts but you won't benefit from stronger springs and a higher rev limiter. Building up a head is a lot of money and your money is better spent on something else if you plan on keeping that Ko4.
