    Cone filter install

    I just got my apexi cone filter in today. Is there a diy for this install?

    Remove stock airbox.

    If you have a 3" inlet on your filter it should just slip right on the MAF.

    Tighten the filter down.

    Done.

    Get yourself a nice heat shield, I used the stock one for a while, custom mounted with some zip ties haha. It wasn't the best still got a little hot if I went on semi-long drives.

    I have the blinktek one now, my filter is icy cold now whenever I pop my hood.

    hey thanks alot man. how much did that blinktek heatshield cost? i tried contacting them but no reply as of yet.

    wow, that blinktek looks pretty nice. if my heatshield project fails this spring, i'll probably pick one of those up.
