    Boost leak test?

My a4 normally runs around 18psi (gt2871r). I just installed a new boost gauge (the last one was not working for a long time) and it shows 7psi! what the hell?! It doesn't pull as hard as it should....

I used search, and al I found were driver/car-specific problems. Where can I find a write up on how to perform a boost leak test?

    Re: Boost leak test?

After finding a big enough tennis ball for my intake to use the tennis ball method, I have a question...Don't I need to clamp off the crankcase hose before I presurize the system? If not that hose...do I need to clamp off any others?

    The tennis ball method? Wtf?

It costs 12 bux to make one yourself. Do it.

There is a full guide how do it on a B5 S4 on AWE's website, just adapt it to your A4.
