The black Superturismo's have always been one of my favorite wheels.

Depends on what you are looking for, performance or looks.

The ST's are better looking wheel, but the UL's are a LOT lighter. We are talking about a 5.5 pound difference per wheel. That is monsterous in the wheel world. When you can drop 22 pounds of unsprung weight, you will have very noticable performance differences.

I run the UL's and I will admit that I do like the ST looks better. The one unique thing with the UL is that the spokes have a little more character when looking at them on a side view. Reminds me of spider legs kind of. A little different. Another advantage to less spokes is that cleaning will be easier.

yeah you just confirmed I'd rather have the ultralaggeras in silver, but I'd get 18s to get a bit lower

the ultralaggeras will be easier to clean and they weigh quite a bit less (like audi juice mentioned above)... on a black car i'd go with the black wheels (i like the murdered out look, always have and always will) on any other color i'd go with silver wheels!!!

Silver supers. I've seen fewer of them on the A4, and the silver would contrast nice with black.

Hey you already know me for my poor taste in rims (Yes.... they did come off my car), but I do like the ultralaggeras a lot.
I would need to get slotteds put on behind them to make it look right. Not fond of all black rims though.

Since I don't track, race, street race, may care for the 5lb is minimal. If you are tracking and suck then it should be a no brainer that then UL is the better choice.

Which ever you decide I say black b/c the red writing looks great.

I am usually very careful to avoid all potholes when I have my UL's on. However, one time I smashed a pretty good sized pothole that I didn't see. I had always heard about the UL's being soft and figured I had probably bent one because of how violently I hit the pothole. Surprisingly the wheel held up to it and I didn't have any cracks or wheel shake afterwards. So, I would say they are stronger than people give them credit.

Back to which wheels you should get... I would vote for the silver ST's, mainly because I already have black UL's . But, I remember seeing in another thread you said you were one of the few that likes the chrome trim. I think the silver ST's will look better with the chrome trim than if you get black wheels and keep the chrome trim.

I would go with the UL, but as far as color goes it depends on your trim package. If you have Ti blacked-out trim, silver wheels may look off in which case you should go black. If you have regular silver trim, do silver.

The UL's would be a better choice if you eventually want to upgrade to a big brake package, you will be able to see more. The stock ones with those kind of wheels probably wouldn't look good in my opinion.
