18 and 24mpg!

found this on auto trader. im pretty sure the s4 does not get 18 and 24 mpg. look at the picture of the window sticker.

My 2008 MT6 window sticker says 13 and 20. I'm lucky if I even see the 13.

It must have in 2004.
The EPA changed the way estimates were taken in 07.

13 mpg means you're getting what...200 miles per full tank?

I get about 250 miles/tank.

wow. how could they actually convince people that the tip will get 3 more mpg. i thought it was the other way around. i thought you CAN get better millage with manual

Tip has different gear ratios than stick. It really does get 24 mpg on the highway.

yea i get about the same as my old B5 S4 so i dont care about gas milage. And my wndow stick on my 06 S4 says 18 24 and it is a tip.

I like to think my commute gives a very "true" reading of "city" fuel economy. I start it in the garage, back out and let it warm up for about 60 seconds, and then drive gently to work (0.5 miles). I do some other driving in the city, and usually end up at about 13.5 if it's very cold, 14.5 if it's warmer. On the highway, cruising at 75, I get 20.5.
