How much room is there above the valve cover until the hood, im not even sure. That looks like over half the turbo will be above the valve cover.

It sits slightly higher then the Full-race setup. If it is slightly higher he will need to use a intake to put the filter down low, if he puts the filter right on the turbo it will most likely hit the hood. I tried that and had to cut the frame of my CF hood since it was hitting the HKS filter.
