First CEL. Recent oil change. lets talk

Just got an oil change about a week ago. Full synthetic 5w-30. Put on a FRAM oil filter.

Car popped up its first CEL tonight.

Car has been getting horrible gas mileage on this tank of fuel. about 2/3(or less) of normal. I know that this could be a million things. I am going to take it to the local shop (induktion) and have them run the code for me.

any rough suggestions or just words of encouragement would be awesome.
