B7 S4 or B7 RS4 Brakes - where to get them?

I'm looking at upgrading my current Brembo 328x28 4 piston brakes. I wanted to know the following:

1. What size wheels do the RS4 or S4 brakes need
2. Are the RS4 and S4 multipiston brakes?

B7 S4 brakes are single piston calipers. The RS4 calipers are multi-piston and you can pick them up from Greg@DTH.

have a rough cost on an s4 front brake upgrade? calipers, rotors, carriers, etc. i know i could search, but well... i'm lazy...

1. B7 S4 you need 17" or larger. B7 RS4 you need at least 18"
2. B7 S4 is 1 piston. B7 RS4 are 8 pistons.

You can buy them from the dealer or Deutsch Teile Haus.

Anyways, Jose, go with the RS4's [EDIT: If you can make them fit]. Here's a template for ECS's Stage V kit which is basically the same size as the RS4 brakes. They might fit under 18s... barely...

If you go with the S4 brakes I would recommend going with the B6 version over B7 calipers. B7 calipers have about 8mm less clearance.

S4 brakes can probably be found in the classifieds, and to whoever asked, a fair price for everything is around $600.
