Picking up a 2.0T this week - questions.

Not new to the vw/audi scene at all,. I have a stage 3 B5 S4.

That being said, my 2.0T will be my daily driver, and I have plans for some slight mods and I'm wondering what is the best vendor to deal with.

Here is what I'm looking for:

Front grille filler plate
Front bumper markers (I'd like color matched ones, I suppose I can just paint my stock ones though)

Exhaust
Suspension (maybe just springs? I'm not going to race this car - will it ride like shit with just springs or can I get away with it?)

HID lights

And I'd possibly consider adding factory navigation - if it won't cost an arm and a leg.

If someone can point me to a vendor(s) who have everything I'm looking for that would be great - thanks!

My only mods will be:

APR tuning (already done at the dealer)
Some kind of exhaust
Suspension
18" wheels (going to use my old wheels off of my S4 and get new shoes for the S4)
HID's
Front filler plate
And MAYBE navigation

Seriously though, I think the 2.0T with a tune and exhaust will be plenty for a DD, and it is a great looking car IMO.

you will want to get springs and shocks or coilovers since u don't have the sport suspension. your shocks will go FAST. if you had OEM sport suspension the shocks will last longer but you will need to change em out.

Supreme power is having a sale on their Koni Coilovers, and i think there is a thread in this forum or in the group buy section on them, they were selling them for 899 while supplies last which is a great price

also AWE makes a nice exhaust, with a quad tip available. i say AWE for exhaust. Latly as far as a flash, I have GIAC and i have no problems with them on this car. power is smooth but packs a decent kick. Being its a DD and you have a b5s4 im sure you will be content with this set up.

If you want an IC upgrade, Evolution racewerks offers upgraded DSMIC's for this car which im sure you know is similar to the b5s4 set up. good luck and glad to hear you're gettin a b7

I'm just going to do a spring/shock combo probably. Unless I can find a set of coilovers for the same price as a spring/shock combo.

My S4 will be my "modded" car - I just want a sharp looking DD.

I'm going to paint my stock grille completely black, lower the car, black 18" Flick Justice wheels, HID's and LED's in the lights, front bumper splitters, and an exhaust and it's done.

And now that I think about it,that's about 2.5K in mods hahaha great..
