heavy vibration help!!!

three days ago I got a vast stage 3 clutch put it. Yesterday I noticed that when that when taking off in first the car was vibrating pretty bad and once the fully clutch engaged it when away but it only did it sometimes. Today the car was fine it did it like once or twice, but just before when i got on it first thru third when i let off the car was shaking badly i had my hand on the shifter and it felt like the tranny was wobbling the whole cabin was vibrating and so where the seats( felt like i had a flat). I came to a stop and put the clutch in and it went away, i took off again and brought the car right home and it was fine the whole way right before I got home I got it a little again and it did it for a couple of seconds till I put the clutch in. Anyone have any idea what it might be??

Who put the clutch in? It sounds like something is not balanced properly. If you put the clutch in and it goes away. Did you resurface your flywheel? Do you have a bad burning smell? Did you break in the clutch properly? Also, I remember another guy had problems with the vast stage 3 clutch. It ended up being the bolts for the flywheel did not have the washers on them. So some of them sheared off and thus resulting in a wobbling fly wheel.

Greg@ssp put in the clutch..and he said the flywheel was resurfaced specially for that clutch, and theres no burning smell. I been taking it real easy with the car I got on it a few times but no launching or any of that. It seems that if I let out the clutch with no gas, right when the clutch engages is when it happens but for some reason it only does it sometimes. When taking off if i give it gas and rev a little and and disengage the clutch its fine. Maybe its tranny mounts??

Do a quick check- look at the drive line, are the bolts at trans rear flange tight, center carrier bearing tight & washers installed? If flywheel was out of balance I would expect vibration would not go away w/clutch depressed.

does the sound go away at higher rpms? If so its probably chatter.

Break in your stage 3 clutch for a full tank of gas. No Lauching and stay out of boost. It will make all the difference down the road.
