From what I've heard, you probably want to change your shocks as well otherwise your base level shocks will wear out prematurely. verify that with someone else though because that's just from piecing stuff together that I've heard on the board.

Re: S line springs on SE

i was tols that the s line is 30mm lower then the se and the shocks would take it as long as i dont go over 30mm

now i just want to make sure this is right
before i buy the standard new s line spring insted of a set of lowering spings

just thought it would be better to use the O/E parts

Re: S line springs on SE

I have an sline and I think it will lower it about 20mm. If you pay to have it done, it might be worth it to you to buy a proper set. The sline springs won't wear out your shocks, but others will.

Also, there might be a bigger diofference if the springs came from a Qtro... My buddy just bought a b7 qtro, and it sat lower than my factory ride.... just my $.02

Re: S line springs on SE

S-line springs might still wear them out, it's a pretty decent drop. But it's not like there's any use for the shocks anyway than wearing them out!

Re: S line springs on SE

I like the stance of the S-Line springs but I could deal with it being maybe 1/4" to 1/2" lower. I'm not going to buy new springs because it wouldn't be worth it to me.
