Quick Oil Question

i forgot what kind of oil i need. 2003 1.8t quatro 85,000 miles. 5w40? and about how man quarts? thanks

full synthetic 0-40 or 5-40

i use mobil 1 fully synthetic 0-w40 and you need to put 4.5 in but check it after you put that much in and MAYBE add a little more if needed.

You can find information like this in the drivers manual. Actually you can find many usefult things in the drivers manual. But it does state that you can use 0w-30, 0w-40, 5w-30, and 5w-40.

Take your pick on oils: Clicky click Use the large filter and add 4.3 quarts. Good to go.
