Will 245/40/18 tires fit into my 7.5in wide wheels??

Hey guys,

I just pick up a cheap set of BFGoodrich g-Force Sports tires and wanted to know if these will fit on my 7.5 in wide wheels. Thanks!

BFG requires at least an 8" wide wheel. I imagine a shop could force it to fit, but it wouldn't be safe

yes, that's what I read on tirerack's website too.

I will still get them mounted since I have these tires and my current tires on the car are very low on tread.

I just hope that it is safe enough where won't fall off the rim
