This is why God invented Paypal. He can kiss that money goodbye, seriously. Even if he would take it to court from NC to WI and win. Which would net him money owed plus fees and what not...it means nothing. Especially in small claims court. A judgement is meaningless without enforcement. That's what most people don't realize. Even if you win the case, the person just owes you the money legally. The gov/courts/police don't enforce it for you. You have to keep bothering the person like you were before and they just keep not paying you. Or you pay someone to enforce it, which is typically 50-55% of the total amount when it is all said and done. Even better is if you pay someone to enforce it, they still need somewhere to get the money from. They might be able to garnish wages if they have a steady job, but if they leave it you have to do the same shit over again. If he has real money somewhere else(property, car, boat, etc) you can get that legally assigned to you. This is a kid though, so I highly doubt that the kid has any. All in all, the buyer just got owned and will never get his money back.
I kinda do this stuff to keep myself busy.
