More of a polish. To even out scratches and marks.

You could even use a light polish such as PO106FA or PO85rd. They'll both help too.

try to keep the mirrors sealed...it will help reduce etching and spotting...its a very common problem with audi trim and mirrors! just a tip!

Chrome and metal polish is intended for uncoated metals. I believe the side mirrors have a clear-coat on them, and I wouldn't use metal polish on a clear-coated finish.

I used a paint polish (Menzerna PO85rd) via PC7424 w white pad on my S4's aluminum mirrors, and it came out beautifully. Sealed them after, and then LSP w Lusso wax.

Mine had already been refinished once so the clearcoat has been removed. I will try the metal polish and then try sealing with something unless there are other ideas.

Adams metal polish did the trick. Phil do you want to post a link?

I will try and get before and after pics because I have only done one so far.

This was for the S6 Aluminum mirrors that had been refinished so the pertective coating was no longer there.
