So i decided to tackle a little project i had been meaning to do for a long time. its nothing much but i thought id share....

my zimmermann rotors in the rear had their hats get rusty. it looked nasty.
    so i pulled them off

hit them with a wire brush

    masked off the braking surface

painted with hi temp bbq paint

    and the finished product

Thats a good idea, I hope the paint holds up nice. I always hated when that part of the rotor gets rusty.

Sweet, I just bought some drilled rotors last week. Waiting for the temp to go above 20* F here in Michigan so I can install them.
