Ok well with this income tax money rolling around I decided to blow it on HID's and some other mods. Well first for the HID's. I found these http://www.parts4euro.com/DCShop/pro...roducts_id=566 sorry if link doesnt work don't know how to linkify it. Anyways Would I be able to put HID's on these Headlights? I noticed they offer 4300k and 6000k which those are HIDS but what are the cancellers? is that a ballast? any info would be nice. THanks

Skip, I'm not a fan of the design.

Why not just pick up S4 bi-xenon's or something?

If you want HIDs and don't necessarily want/need new headlight housings, you can just swap the projector in your existing housing, with a pair of these:

Vinny, what kind of lens do you have in your Bi-Xenons? I know all DOT spec lenses are of the fresnel type (you can see rings in the glass), but I've seen many E-Codes with fresnel lenses instead of clear lenses as well. I'm waiting for a set of clear 3" ZKW lenses to arrive, I'm hoping for a considerable improvement in the sharpness of the cutoff and maybe a little more intensity as well.

So these can be thrown into the stock halogens with an aftermarket D1S kit and won't have horrible pattern / cutoff?

Exactly, the projector's reflector bowl, cutoff shield and optical lens are together responsible for the beam pattern and cutoff line.

Yea they are fresnel type. In all honesty, I'm a little disappointed in the light output of the Bixenons, but I think it could be the combination of the HID's bulbs getting old, and well, my tinted windshield really doesn't help. But let me know when you do figure something out in terms of the lense. I'd love to have a sharper cutoff, and a higher intensity. I'm all for seeing better at night!

Yeah, I'll post pics of the lens swap and the results.
