aftermarket downpipes and stock exhaust

has anybody fit a set of aftermarket downpipes on their stock S5 exhaust? i am very interested in doing this but would like to hear from people with experience. also would this void the warranty? thanx

Dont know the answer to the first part but I have been told by the Audi rep that the warranty will not be voided only for the exhaust or problems due to the exhaust. Basically if your exhaust system is destroyed they won't repair it but if something else happens lets say something on your suspension breaks out of nowhere they would cover that because it is not due to the exhaust.
