Love their front snub mount too. Emails replied quickly both during their development phase and when I needed info on the installation.

Gets rid of the clunk/movement in the rear diff as the front engine/tranny mounts in the B6 are stiffened up.

Your right about that; then for a few bucks more a machine shop can press the new bushing in. This would be a great alternative and many other cars already have that option for upgrading certain mounts.

Not sure I understand what u are asking but a standard B6 is usually going 50/50% of torque to the front/rear. If u have the Stasis diff mod it goes to 40/60% front/rear torque split. Maybe my title was a bit cryptic. It should have read "Apikol Rear Diff Mount Install"

88% actually, but only upon the detection of slippage. Std torque split is 40/60 with no slippage.

DIY on the way need a few pics of the tools. No vibration... NONE Apikol designed the mount with this in mind. No drone, no hum, no whine nothing that wasnt there to start with... except the motion that is quelled. Look above^^^at my post #14 for link to my driving impressions.

Expect about 1-2 hrs start to finish depending on facilities, expertise/experience, working speed. U'll LUV it.

Right that is a good analogy too. It lets u put the power down without having to baby it so as not to create any disturbance/movement to the drivetrain. Just step on it and let quattro do its thing.


... Pssst, it feels even better with the Stasis center diff mod in place too if u haven't done that yet.

True but mainly on a track/road course though... don't think a dyno will reveal anything has changed.

it completely compliments my center diff mod...although when I go around corners it no and push it to break loose it is smooth and controlled.
