offset remains the same, hence the popularity of them

the only thing you should be aware of the hub size. Which off the top of my head i cannot remember what our audi's are.

As far as offsets go ET35 8.5 width will work. I would run a 225/35 but that's just me.

Yes, those will fit. For tires, I'd go with a 225/35 personally. But if you want some more meat, 235/35's will work also.

And, you'll need hubcentric rings for those wheels since they have a 66.1mm centerbore and Audi's have a 57.1mm centerbore.

So I have seen these, but have never seen or heard of anyone actually running them.

I have read that with many wheels, you need to bore out the bolt holes on the wheel to make this work. (not changing the BP, nor the cone part, just making the opening a lil bigger.

Did you have to bore out the bolt holes a little to make yours work? What brand wheels did you do it w/?

    TIA.

This is correct. A lot of 5x114.3 wheels have 12mm bolt holes, but our cars use 14mm bolts. You just need a good drill and the appropriate sized drill bit to enlarge the holes with.

It sounds scary, but it's virtually fool proof, I promise. The existing bolt holes act as pilot holes and help keep the bit centered. Unless you're completely uncoordinated, you can do it.
