yea i just picked up thte b7 week ago monday. but its at the dealership getting repairs done they said they would fix when i bought it. Valve cover gaskets leaking check engine light for secondary air injection, center console latch. rear cup holder. And brake noise comming from left front.

I usto live down lakeshore when I was a kid. My friend lived down there also. You might have seen a Imola S4 B5 around

haha nice yea i love Bj's cheap gas lol. And since bj's screw up my membership Im a member for 40 bux till 2040 lol thats the expriatiion date on my card ohyea lol. Na that wasnt me where is belgarden. Maybe i was parked there. I live in pasadena and the gf lives in annapolis. she usto live in glenburnie. I sold it for 12K to a guy in PA with all the mods and such. And picked up the B7 for 21K with a few free goodies from the dealer full set of keys, all weather mats, trunk liner, and car cover. Yea I am usually at bjs every friday night filling up lol. Ive seen a few b5 s4s around

Thats cool yea ill be down there more often than not. But got the car back. Dealer replaced both valve cover gaskets fuze box for nothing since i just bought it. And looks like thier gonna replace the front pads rotors and calipers for this loud as noise i have when turning left. Its so bad you and feel it. Something is going on with the brakes.

well my brake booster died on me during the cold. I have about 100K on the car right now. The rotors and pads are from 50K so I thought what the hell anyways and get them replaced, since I was going to do it myself.

but a part decided to kill itself, so I'll be getting my car next weekend now...stupid academy.

so my plans are shot for the weekend... :(

BTW Ray is a helluva a guy. If you guys need shit fix take it to him.

Its fairly common for brake boosters to accumulate water in the vent side of the casing. Then when it gets cold the water freezes and causes brake issues. Not just on one platform either, pretty much across the board. There's really no way to tell either as you have to take it off to shake it and empty it out.

haha...I was there last Friday. I was the Black B6 that Ray (or Roy) brought in. Helluva a nice guy. I was going to have you guys fix it but $120 for labor and only OEM parts sort of killed the deal. I had to drive from the stadium to west street with just manual braking and e-braking.

120 for labor thats cheap if thats the total (that total or per hour?) if per hour then yea thats kinda lame. What was up with the part like millions of dollars that killed the deal.

Sorry its $120 bucks per hour. Also they don't work on saturday which is a buzz kill.

As for the part they wanted something like $450 for the booster and 4 hours of labor. Also they would not install my 034 Cat, so that's when I called Ray.

So for $1600ish I got:
-Zimmerman rotors, Hawk pads, fluids, lines
-Brake Booster
-Cat installed
-Codes Cleared
-Towing and taxes all included


Not bad.

yea its lame thier not open on saturday's but im a tech and im glad my dealership is closed on saturday's I like my weekend. Thats not to bad. I dont know y they wouldnt install the cat unless it doesnt bolt up like factory. I can understand that. I think think anydealership weld anymore.

How do you like the zimmerman's I think when its time to do brakes on my car ill go with some nice rotors and pads. I dont like the factory pads due to dust but they stop pretty well.

Is parts still open on saturday's down there

Yeah, I finally made another post. Its been hella crazy with the holidays and the other house still haunting me.

I don't remember the car but I don't doubt that it was here. If you ever need anything just be sure to request me if not you never know who's gonna get the thing. As for the cat, I don't know why but they really don't like installing aftermarket parts here specially if they are brought to us. Too many issues with liability or fitment I'm not sure it was the policy when I got here.

Oh, and no, the dealer doesn't own a welder but if need be I can throw mine in the truck and lug it down here. Although I prefer to just leave it at home where I can watch it 24/7.
