I have the APR 93 octane chip, Test pipe and AWE exhaust. before i did ANY exhaust mods, my Podi boost guage was reading spikes af a little over 20 psi and riiiight after i did the test pipe and exhaust my boost spikes at about 18 psi now, maybe a little less depending on conditions. I have a forge DV valve that i maintain and my PCV is fine. Is this small los in boost due to less back preasure? any ideas? or is this normal and am i just retarded? haha thank youuu!!

did you just have this installed?

It may be because your car is not used to the new airflow yet.

When I first installed my FMIC, It went from spiking 22 and holding 18 to spiking 18 and holding 16 or so... then after a few weeks it went back to normal..

I hear this is very common. Not sure why but I have read this in an Article done by Canyon Racer Motorsports in Mission Viejo, Ca.

Doesn't hurt to try a throttle body alignment.

    Throttle Body Alignment:
put the key and put it into the position just before the starter turns (do not start the car) push the gas peddle all the way wait 3 seconds and turn the key all the way back but do not take it out, now release the gas peddle and wait 2 minutes! remove key than put it back in and start the car!

Hmm...that's worth a shot. My car has APR 93 and I have never seen over a 16 psig boost..definitely not 18.

did you get flashed for the tp? I dont recall reading you did...might be a cause of it, need to flash for the added airflow and what not.

car does take a bit to adapt, give it a couple of days.
