Custom Harmon Kardon Plug and Play Vent Installation

    Hey,
i'm starting a project today on my iPod Integration. I'm planning on making a plexiglass frame and holder that will fit in one of the vent slots and hold the Harmon Kardon Plug and Play screen. All wires will be hidden. I will post pictures as i get closer to the end. Hopefully this will be an inexpensive solution to integrating an iPod with a clean look.

thats exactly what i'm planning on doing, just that i already have a boost gauge there so its going in the vent to the left. I also have the first generation one . I'm sure it will look similar, but i'll still post up pics.

Did you put any insulation behind it so it is not affected by the heat?

Seriously, this does not belong in here. Read the sticky before posting in a forum that took so long to get put up. This is not indepth or crazy enough to be in here. You can delete it and repost it or Jim will most likely do it for you within a day or so..
