    Re: We Win-BMW Loses

    YAY!!!!!!! F*** BMW!!!

Yo the other day i was stopped at a traffic light and a 3-series bmw pulled up next to me so i decided when the light hits green to gun it! Turns out the bmw driver thought the same thing! not sure tho whether it was a 335 or 328.

When the light turns green i already got him off the line by 1 car length. By the time i hit 90 mph he had caught up and this was in like 4th or 5th gear. Then i hit 6th gear and he couldnt catch up until we reached the next stop light!!!!!!

Once again we win....BMW loses!!!!!! GO QUATTRO!!!

Your story is flawed...no way was it 335, maybe a 328 but i think they even have some over your 2.0

B Boy: Your post sounds like it's from a typical BMW cock.

I've always been passionate about BMW's, but ever since Chris Bangle came into the picture, their cars have become very ugly and the overall quality of the car (especially the interiors) has severely declined, imo! So, I'm not surprised that Audi beet BMW in German sales

Cant say its flawed b/c, it couldve just been a bad BMW driver and not the car...

Audi has been gaining ground for the last 10 years. I'm not surprised about these results. The philosophy behind Audi's are very much in tune with today's generation "XY." It used to be all about the name and now people want individuality, hence explosion of Apple and clothing lines that come and go within a few years, but at some point Audi will get too big for its own good and lose its uniqueness.

    Re: We Win-BMW Loses

Doesn't suprise me. Right now the B8 A4 is the newest, biggest, most fuel efficient car in its class, plus it outperforms most competitors. For the money it offers the most overall value. To the average person in a toss up between the 3 series and A4, right now the A4 has the edge. Those are the exact people Audi is going after. BMW will always have loyalists, but the average buyer does shop around.

audi has always made great cars! the problem is the poor US perception. US population only sees materialism, never the true story.

    Re: We Win-BMW Loses

I just bought an 09 a4 2.0 fully loaded with every option. I own 4 bmw's including an m6 (car enthusiast), But I didn't buy an audi for speed and torque. If you want pure engine performance there is no better bang for your buck than bmw. but I cant drive bmw's everyday anymore. In general they aren't really that practical (especially in canada).

Truth, really bad interior and cockpit and nearly every model looks the same. I remember coming out of the movies and there was a couple; The guy said "crazy an m6!". The girl said "they all look the same you can never tell the difference unless you know enough about cars". That's messed up considering an m6 looks the most different from every other model. Then he continued explaining how great the car was...I mean my relatives couldn't distinguish the difference between my 3 series and my brothers 1 series. What was the point in spending the extra money?

No offense but the B8 S4, RS6, and R8 V10 would like to disagree with you. But as far as looks go, I think Audis in general are even more subtle than BMWs. That's what I love about Audi though, its an attention whore's worst nightmare.
