Whats the deal with sdr research? I ordered a product a few weeks back and they like fell off the face of the earth.

I'm having problems with them also. I ordered an intake from the SDR site on February 9th before the site went down and haven't heard from them since. Before ordering I got in touch with Tony Chick who let me know that shipping to Hawaii would be $55 more. I paid for the intake, but the checkout wouldn't let me add the extra shipping so I sent the additional money in a separate paypal payment right after. Since then, I emailed Tony a few times and EPL a few times and haven't heard back from either of them. A few days ago, I noticed the payment for the shipping wasn't collected out of their paypal account and paypal just sent it back to me. I emailed Tony and EPL to see where to send the shipping payment, but again, no reply. They processed my payment for the intake on February 9th and have my $335, but no communication as to where I stand on the order. I'm thinking of filing a complaint with paypal, but I'm thinking the paypal account for SDR is probably closed out by now since they're working under EPL...

I filed a paypal dispute and was immediately contacted by Troy the original owner of SDR and he was shocked to hear that I haven't heard from SDR/APL. He contacted Tony and Adam to check what was going on and I have since been in steady contact with Adam. It seems like the transition still has some hiccups, but it does seem like they are trying to take care of the situation. The intake still hasn't shipped, but at least it seems like there's progress. I'll follow up when the intake arrives. For now, thank you Troy for getting the ball rolling and thank you Adam for taking steps to make things right!

It took over a month before I got my intake from them. It was also kinda hard to get a hold of them through email but I got my intake eventually so as far as I am concerned its all good.

Just got my intake yesterday! Like jamestown478 said, it takes awhile, but you eventually get your part. The design and fabrication are very well done and was worth the wait. Plus, once I finally got in touch with them they were great and they did offer me a pretty deep discount for the trouble. I'm busy at work so don't know when I'll have time to install though... Thanks again Troy, Adam, and Tony!
