    Need Spark Plugs at 80k?????

    Im about to do my 80k matinence but I'm not sure if I need to replace the spark plugs yet. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks

    recommended at 50k i thought. OEM platinums are rated for that. i replaced mine right at my 1+ flash at 50 k and am about due for another set

    Do it, you wont. If I were still using stock plugs, I'd change them about every 25k miles / 3 years.

    It seems to me Audi's intention is for the owner to have to as little maintenance as possible. They have some pretty long intervals between transmission fluid, timing belts, oil changes, fuel filters etc... but you should do all of those long before what Audi recommends, stock plugs being no different.
