How many difference is there between 1.8T and 2.0t engine (fitting etc)

I would like to know if there is a great difference between these 2 engines
when looking to fitting an exhaust, downpipe, turbo etc..
might be a really dumb question but I'm a nood on this subject ;)

also would it be possible to put a downpipe from a B7 1.8 on an B8 1.8?
know the chassis is different but what about fitting?

I live in Europe and we don't have a lot available for engine mods here
also the don't offer the 1.8 in the US so don't expect anything coming out from AWE, Stasis etc.. a real shame :)

Because the platform is different, you probably won't be able to. Not sure about the turbo exhaust housing, which could be the same flange as far as a downpipe goes, but I doubt it would mount in the same places, and fit length wise.

I bought my B8 1.8TSFI in Asia, in that time, they dont offer 2.0! please just go for 2.0TSFI since road condition in Europe is much better than Asia. 2.0TSFI gives you better HP!!
