I was talking to one of the service people my Dads friends with there and she told me a guy backed out of driveway in his Carrera GT and blew his clutch. I think she said it came out to be $28000

it's actually closer to 40 grand i've heard...unless prices have come down in the past few years. Some guy bought one from the Auto Gallery from a friend who used to work there, didn't know how to drive stick, took it on the freeway and about 20 minutes later had it towed back to the dealership.

that sounds about right. I'm pretty sure the engine and tranny have to be pulled to change it.

But C'mon, if you own a 400,000 car, I'm sure you have the money to pay for a clutch.

yeah the clutch on the CGT is pretty crazy looking, its probably longer than it is in diameter with a bunch of disks. its designed that way so the engine and cg can be closer to the ground. also made out of silicon carbide which doesnt sound cheap. watch the top gear review of the CGT its pretty funny. "silicaaaa, carbiiiiii carbiiiiiii, oh i need to leave"
