Need feedback: Milltek cat-back tips don't sit even with ground

Hey everyone. So I FINALLY get my car back after I was rear-ended by a nun a month and a half ago! While at the body shop, I had them install my Milltek Res. cat-back (instead of a stock replacement), since the stocker got mashed in the accident.

My car is a B7 with the quad tips.

First thing I noticed when I got to the shop was that the tips weren't symetrical; the right side was MORE CROOKED than the left side. Yeah, both sides were tilted. Essentially, the outside tips are about a half inch closer to the ground than the inner tips. I had them adjust each side while I was there to get each muffler tilted up as much as possible, but each side is still angled down. They said that's as far as they could adjust it.

How do I get my tips even height?

    Thanks!

that has been a known issue. try adjusting them with the car on the ground. i think the load makes it shift once the car is dropped from the lift.

On further review, it looks like they adjusted the right side pretty well. It is the left side that still needs room to go. Is it just a matter of muscle to shift stuff around, or does stuff need to be bent/tweaked to work?

whatdd ya know, another shitty product from milltek. if you're having issues with alignment, try attaching a hoseclamp around the nub that the exhaust hangers slide on. this will prevent the exhaust from sliding back in that direction.
