    Hey,
I wanna do a custom installation of the Harmon Kardon Plug and Play and want to install it in the very left vent of the center 3. Anyone know how to remove the current vent?

    Thanks

It's easy. Use a knife to pop out the three vents and then pull the vent tray out by grabbing it from the back and pulling it straight out.

Nope. Very simple, and you really cant break them too easy.
Just put a knife of screwdriver in the side, and pop it out!

it's basically held in my hockey tape. You can use a small screw driver around the edges if you're careful and try to pry it out a bit.

Otherwise I've seen people actually pop a vent out just to get a good hold on it.

    Re: Removing Center Vent

the bentley manual actually tells you to bend a piece of metal into a hooked shape to pull it out...hahahaha i did it with my key once but screwdriver, anything you can wedge in. only connection to it is the wire that lights the air flow adjustment knob things

knifes? metal? jamming things in there? ... I just grabbed a fin and pulled lol (but I'm sure that's definitely not the best way to do it, but i'll never learn )
